Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ Can Be Used to Charge Your Qi, Apple or Samsung Wireless Charging Enabled Phone

Ventev not only promotes its wide range of USB based chargers but also offers wireless charging options such as the Ventev Wireless Chargepad+. Like many universal wireless chargers, the Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ supports the Qi wireless charging standard as well as Apple's own 7.5W and Samsung's own 10W enabled wireless charging technologies.

The Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ can use the Qi Low Power to offer 5 watts of charging for Qi enabled phones like the Google Pixel 3, Motorola Nexus 6, Sony Xperia XZ2 and LG G6. The Apple iPhone XSiPhone X and iPhone 8 which are some of Apple's Qi enabled products can take advantage of 7.5W wireless charging while recent Samsung Galaxy models like the Samsung Galaxy S9S8 and Note 8 can get up to 10W wireless charging using the Ventev Wireless Chargepad+.

The Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ highlights the Qi logo indicating it may have been Qi certified along with Apple and Samsung wireless charging support on its box.

The Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ comes with its own AC power adapter accessory with a separate USB Type-A to Type-C charging cable.

The Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ states it supports inputs of 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps) and 15 watts (9 volts @ 1.67 amps) suggesting that it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge although there is no Qualcomm Quick Charge logo on the packaging. Based on our own testing, we could confirm that the Ventev charging pad can negotiate with a Qualcomm Quick Charge based charger to support 9 volts charging (click here to view more).

Despite the lack of Qualcomm Quick Charge logos even on the 18W based power adapter accessory, the Ventev product page has claimed the power adapter to be Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 enabled. You will need to connect this power adapter to the Ventev charging pad in order to keep it charged using 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps) and 18 watts (12 volts @ 1.5 amps) power profiles.

The cloth covering of the Ventev Wireless Chargepad+ provides a non-slip surface that allows your phone to be placed comfortably without slipping.
