The Apple MacBook Pro 13" M1 with Touchbar (2020) is one of Apple Mac's M1 series that now runs on Apple's owned M1 system on a chip (SoC) instead of previous Intel Core chipset as well as supports Thunderbolt 4 technology. Similar to the Apple MacBook Air 2020 M1, there are also two Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 ports on the Apple MacBook Pro 13" M1 with Touchbar (2020) which can be used to link up one 8K or two 4K@60Hz displays or even docks or hubs with up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports.

With Thunderbolt 4, the Apple MacBook Pro 13" M1 with Touchbar (2020) should support 100W rapid charging using USB Power Delivery 3.0 technology as well as 32 Gb/s PCIe speeds.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13" M1 with Touchbar (2020) can keep itself charged using the Apple 61W USB-C Power Adapter that supports USB Power Delivery with the USB Type-C cable that ship with the Mac.

Also similar to the Apple MacBook Air 2020 M1, the two Thunderbolt 4 based USB Type-C ports on one side of the Apple MacBook Pro 13" M1 with Touchbar (2020) support Thunderbolt 4 (40 Gb/s), USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s), DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Power Delivery 3.0. These Thunderbolt 4 ports can also be used to charge the Mac itself.

The Apple 61W USB-C Power Adapter accessory supports USB Power Delivery over Type-C for fast charging using 60.9 watts (20.3 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps) and 15.6 watts (5.2 volts @ 3 amps) power profiles.
