The OPPO Ace2 very briefly charges at 41W but most charging is done at 16-17W with the OPPO 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Charger that comes with the phone and achieves full charging a little over 1 hour. Even with a fan to remove excess heat, the OPPO Ace2 still decides to only charge at this lower level rather than take full advantage of the 65W charger.

The OPPO Ace2 supports its own proprietary SuperVOOC 2.0 based charging up to 65W as well as standard USB Power Delivery 3.0 fast charging technology over the Type-C interface, which is similar to the previous generation OPPO Reno Ace.

For wireless charging, the OPPO Ace2 offers up to 40W using OPPO's AirVOOC wireless flash charge scheme. This is a big improvement over its OPPO Reno Ace predecessor that came without wireless charging capability. The OPPO Ace2 also supports reverse wireless charging allowing the phone to wirelessly charge its own OPPO series or other Qi enabled phones such as the Apple iPhone 12 and Google Pixel 4 XL as well as being able to be wirelessly charged itself.

Let's take a closer look at the OPPO Ace2 from inside its packaging.

The OPPO Ace2 is shipped with a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, AC adapter, SIM ejector tool, earbuds and casing as accessories. Note the phone uses USB Type-C based audio instead of the legacy 3.5mm audio headphone jack that existed on the OPPO Reno Ace

The OPPO Ace2 has a quad rear camera setup with HDR and 4K video recording capabilities as well as supports NFC.

The phone not only supports OPPO SuperVOOC 2.0 based charging but also USB Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 fast charging from its USB Type-C connector. This means that an external USB PD 3.0 based charger can be used with the phone to keep it charged.

The USB Type-A based OPPO 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Charger accessory supports the OPPO SuperVOOC 2.0 charging scheme for up to 65 watts (10 volts @ 6.5 amps) output which needs to be connected to the phone using the supplied USB Type-A to Type-C cable for fastest charging.

While the phone's own 65W charger also supports USB PD negotiation, it only provides up to 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps) charging so that USB PD is purposely made much slower charging than SuperVOOC.
