The Roku Express is one of the most inexpensive media players out there and let's see how well it works with the Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K Ultra HD Ultra Smooth Motion 120 LED UHDTV

The Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K TV is a low cost TV the has some streaming content capabilities but the Roku Express allows you augment the streaming experience you can enjoy on the Hisense TV using Roku.

In order to set up the Roku Express on the Hisense 50H7C 50 Smart 4K Ultra HD Ultra Smooth Motion 120 LED UHDTV, you have to first make sure that the Roku Express is plugged into its AC adapter and connected to the HDMI port on the Vizio TV.  Note that the Roku Express doesn't support 4K so you don't need to use the HDMI 2.0 ports on the TV.

Turn on the TV and once you have the right HDMI input port selected, you should see the dancing Roku logo.

Once the Roku home screen is up, you need to make sure that your Roku Express has a good connection to the Internet.  To set up or check the network, go to Settings -> Network -> Wireless -> Update Connection -> select any available WI-FI Network.

Roku has one of the most extensive collection of streaming channels so you need to find and add the channels that you want to see.  However, unlike other media players, even popular channels like YouTube must be added manually.
