In a previous review, we tested the Samsung Galaxy S8 with the Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter but found it didn't output video over HDMI correctly on the Asus PQ321Q display. 

Instead of using the HDMI input on the Asus PQ321Q, we switched to using the DisplayPort input and connected that input directly to the Samsung Galaxy S8 using the Plugable USB-C to DisplayPort Adapter.

This time we had better luck where the video was displayed correctly and at full size on the Asus PQ321Q.

We could also see the audio was now selectable on the Samsung Galaxy S8 when swiping down from the top.
