The AC Power Adapter that comes with the BatPower PD6 not only charges the PD6 power bank but also USB Type-C phones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 using USB Power Delivery.

To start charging the Samsung Galaxy S8, you will need to first connect the BatPower PD6's AC Adapter to the BatPower round to rectangle connector adapter and then to the BatPower USB Type-C Adapter. You can then connect the USB Type-C adapter to the Samsung Galaxy S8 using a USB Type-C to Type-C cable.

From the USB Power Delivery negotiations, the BatPower PD6's AC Adapter is seen to declare its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 36 watts (12 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps). Here it shows only a max of 60W is supported by charger although it claims to support 90W at the back of its casing.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 at a 9% battery charge is also observed to request 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) from the BatPower charger adapter which it then accepts.

While being charged from 9% battery at power off, the Samsung Galaxy S8 starts pulling around 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) from the BatPower PD6's AC Adapter for a brief amount of time but in the end only 5 watts (5 volts @ 1 amps) is actually being pulled. 5 watts is much lower than charging with other USB Power Delivery chargers like in this review with an Anker charger or this review with a Ventev charger.
