Huawei SuperCharge 40W AC Charger- First 40W Fast Charging Technology By a Flagship Phone Brand

The Huawei SuperCharge 40W AC Charger offers up to 40W of charging using its own brand of SuperCharge Protocol charging scheme for Huawei's phones like the recent Huawei Mate30 Pro as well as the previous generation Huawei Mate20 Pro supporting 40W based SuperCharge charging. This is in fact the first 40W proprietary fast charging technology by a flagship phone brand.

The Huawei SuperCharge 40W AC Charger comes with a single USB Type-A port that is marked purple and uses the SuperCharge Protocol to at most supply 40 watts using 10 volts @ 4 amps power profile. This port will provide up to 4 amps charging if used with a Huawei phone that supports SuperCharge technology or up to 2 amps (10 watts @ 5 volts or 18 watts @ 9 volts) if connected to a Huawei phone that doesn't support SuperCharge.

Note for SuperCharge based charging, make sure to use a appropriate 5A cable with your SuperCharge enabled devices and the Huawei charger.
