The Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera Brings 4K 360 Video Capture into a Compact Package

At CES 2017, JK Imaging showed off its latest generation 4K 360 camera, the Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera

The Kodak improves upon the previous KODAK PIXPRO SP360 4K Action Cam by having two 20 MP image sensors instead of just a single 12 MP sensor.  Instead of mounting two KODAK PIXPRO SP360 4K Action Cam's to create true 360 degrees spherical 4K video, you can just use a single Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera with dual lens.

The Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera also uses two SD Class 10 cards, one dedicated for each image sensor.  Once you've recorded the content, you can transfer them to a PC or Mac using the SD cards and use the PIXPRO stitching software to create a single file to play 4K 360 VR content

Like the KODAK PIXPRO SP360 4K Action Cam, the Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera can be remotely controlled using WI-FI from your iPhone or Android phone.  If the Android phone is NFC enabled, you can also touch the Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera to the phone to pull up the PIXPRO App.

Unlike the Ricoh Theta S which allows casual users to immediately capture and play VR content, the Kodak PIXPRO Orbit360 4K VR Camera is more geared towards enthusiasts and professional users who are willing to spend more time transferring content to a PC or Mac and using a program to stitch the files together.
