As far as charging goes over USB Power Delivery, it was quite a messy experience between the GoPro Supercharger and the Google Pixel phone, although charging still works. We will now observe how this charger powers the Apple 15" MacBook Pro (Late 2016)  which also uses USB Power Delivery for charging. 

The USB Power Delivery negotiations between the GoPro Supercharger and the Apple 15" MacBook Pro (Late 2016) clearly indicate the GoPro Supercharger declaring its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 16.5 watts (5.5 volts @ 3 amps), and 20 watts (12 volts @ 1.67 amps). The GoPro Supercharger then readily accepts the Apple 15" MacBook Pro (Late 2016)'s request to pull 20 watts (12 volts @ 1.67 amps).

While the GoPro Supercharger charges the Apple 15" MacBook Pro (Late 2016) with the Mac's battery being fully depleted, we can see that the current rises to just below 1.7 amps during the first 10 seconds. 

The smooth power transaction shows that the GoPro Supercharger is well received by the Apple 15" MacBook Pro (Late 2016) using USB Power Delivery.
