The Henge Docks Stone offers a portable connectivity option to bring on your travels which can also be used to charge recent Apple Mac's as well as various USB Type-C devices like the Huawei P10 phone. While the Huawei P10 supports both USB Power Delivery 2.0 and Huawei's own SuperCharge technology over its USB Type-C connector, let's find out how it charges when plugged in to the Stone's rear USB Type-C port.

Note that the USB Type-C port at the back of the Stone does not support USB Power Delivery charging which can supply up to 10.5 watts to power downstream devices like a phone. 

Upon plugin, the Huawei P10 on a 46% charged battery was delivered around 7.5 watts of stable charging by the Stone. While the phone is  able to charge faster using Huawei SuperCharge, for non USB Power Delivery charging, 7.5W can still be useful for a quick charge up when needed.
