Verizon USB-C Fast Charge Wall Charger- Verizon's First GaN Charger
The Verizon USB-C Fast Charge Wall Charger is Verizon's first USB Power Delivery charger with Gallium nitride (GaN) technology, reducing charger size and increasing power efficiency versus other non-GaN 30 watt chargers. Through GaN, the Verizon charger is more compact than most conventional AC chargers as well as able to provide more efficient charging at lower temperatures when supplying power to most mobile phones, tablets, and notebook PC's sold today over the USB Type-C port.
The Verizon USB-C Fast Charge Wall Charger can use USB Power Delivery 3.0 over Type-C to support 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 30 watts (14.5 volts @ 2 amps) and 30 watts (15 volts @ 2 amps) power profiles for rapid charging as advertised on its product page. Note the charger supports 14.5V Power Delivery Object (PDO) which is not common.
You can use the Verizon USB-C Fast Charge Wall Charger to charge recent Apple iPhone's and iPad's that can use USB Power Delivery like the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max and 11-inch iPad Pro (2018) or Android phones such as the Google Pixel 4 XL and Samsung Galaxy Note10+ or even smaller notebook computers like Apple's MacBook (Early 2016).
