While the Huawei Mate 10 Pro supports standard USB Power Delivery 2.0 technology other than its own SuperCharge technology for fast charging, the phone was seen to have problems charging with the third party Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger using USB Power Delivery.
The Ventev charger at initial plugin started off well to provide close to 18 watts charging to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro on a fully drained battery. When the voltage and current started to change rapidly after the first 4 minutes of charging, the phone was not able to draw any stable power thus resulting in no proper charging.
