In addition to expansion chassis based products, Sonnet has the Echo 15+ Thunderbolt 2 Dock with Optical Drive and Internal Drive Bay.  Most Thunderbolt docks do not offer an optical drive while Sonnet offers either a 8x DVD±RW drive, Blu-ray Disc player (BD-ROM/8x DVD±RW), or Blu-ray burner (4x BD-R/8x DVD±RW) optical drive.  You can even install hard drives into the dock to increase your Mac or PC's storage capacity.
