SanDisk Got its iXpand Flash Drive Slim and Fit for 2016

With the iXpand Flash Drive, the SanDisk was the first to release a Lightning connector based mobile drive to quickly move files from the iPhone or iPad to a Mac or PC.

SanDisk's updated iXpand Flash Drive (2016) provides a faster USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) interface with the USB Type-A connector used for the PC or Mac.  

I purchased the iXpand Flash Drive (2016) at Best Buy in Kokomo, Indiana.

The iXpand Flash Drive (2016) has a USB Type-A connector on one end, and curled up on the top like a scorpion's tail is an Apple Lightning connector.

Compared to the previous iXpand Flash Drive, the iXpand Flash Drive (2016) is a lot slimmer and doesn't have the removable cap which is easily lost.

The slimmer design makes the iXpand Flash Drive (2016) a lot more portable and fits a lot better with the iPhone and iPad.

Compared to the new iXpand Flash Drive (2016), the large size of the previous iXpand Flash Drive makes it look almost ungainly compared to the size of the iPhone 6s .

Even for the largest iPad model, the iPad Pro, the slimmer iXpand Flash Drive (2016) fits a lot better than the previous iXpand Flash Drive.
