If you own a Robolink Codrone and prefer to control it on your iPhone 6 Plus over the drone's own controller, here's how to set up the iPhone with the drone and see if they can connect over Bluetooth 4.0.

To set up the Robolink Codrone on the iPhone 6 Plus, you need to first go to the Apple App Store to download and install the ByRobot Petrone App.

After you have installed and opened the App, you will need to sign in with your Petrone account or create a new one if you don't have one already. Note to play battle games online, you will need to also register with the App.

At the same time make sure to also power on the Robolink Codrone with its battery fully charged and well inserted into its battery slot.

Make sure the Robolink Codrone is ready for use by checking the bottom green LED light is blinking. Of course Bluetooth must be enabled on the iPhone 6 Plus as well.

To start the pairing process on the App, select the model of the Robolink Codrone that you want to use.

Select the Robolink Codrone when it appears in the Petrone List followed by the Çonnect button to initiate connection with the iPhone 6 Plus over Bluetooth (try to keep the iPhone close to the CoDrone).

Unfortunately the Robolink Codrone is unable to maintain Bluetooth connection with the iPhone 6 Plus with the App again asking to select the drone model to pair with. We were unable to use the Robolink Codrone with the iPhone 6 Plus over Bluetooth but were able to get the drone working on the 9.7-inch iPad Pro (click to see review here).
