The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a 3.5mm audio jack but can support audio over its USB Type-C connector allowing it to be used with USB Type-C audio headphones like the JBL Reflect Aware C. We tried to use this phone with the JBL Reflect Aware C and both devices worked fine over USB Type-C.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 offers an added advantage over many other USB Type-C phones like the Huawei P10 (this review) and ZTE Nubia Z17 (details here) by allowing you to select and adjust audio output to the JBL Reflect Aware C.
The JBL Reflect Aware C is a great way to listen to music and make use of its active noise cancellation features on your Samsung Galaxy S8 which is as easy as using traditional 3.5mm audio headphones.
