Plugging in the Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger to the Apple MacBook (Early 2015), we will see how well the MacBook charges using USB Power Delivery with its battery at 90% full.

The Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger starts communicating over USB Power Delivery with the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) by advertising its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps).

The MacBook then requests to pull 30 watts (20 volts @ 1.5 amps) which the charger complies.

While the Mac is being charged on an already well charged battery, we can confirm that the power drawn is initially 35 watts (20 volts @ 1.75 amps).

It's good to see that a non Apple based charger like the  Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger can also be used to charge the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) using USB Power Delivery.
