Huawei, the Chinese telecom giant, has partnered with Google to come out with the Nexus 6P. It is a sleek Android phone, showing off Huawei's capability and experience in dominating the high end of the Chinese smartphone market.
The Nexus 6P also supports Google Cast, rather than Miracast, for its wireless display technology. For Google Android based smart TV's like the Sony Bravia 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV, it's easy to wirelessly mirror the Nexus 6P's display on the Bravia's TV screen using Google Cast technology.
The Sony Bravia has a Screen mirroring App, although it's not necessary to start it to enable screen mirroring on the Bravia.
To start wireless display mirroring on the Nexus 6P, go to Settings -->Display--> Cast.
Alternatively, if you use the main swipe-down menu, you can select the Cast icon.
In the Cast screen, select the Bravia 4K TV which shows up as the model name KD-55X8500C.
The Nexus 6P connects quickly to the Sony Bravia 4K TV, and your smartphone's screen should be mirrored on the TV in no time.
The Huawei Google Nexus 6P Google Cast display mirroring technology works seamlessly with the Sony Bravia 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV with Android. Together, they create a good user experience for casual viewing of videos, Apps, and games that you want to share with others on the big screen.
