GoPro sells its own USB Power Delivery based GoPro Supercharger as an additional fast charging accessory to the GoPro HERO5 Black and GoPro HERO5 Session.  These GoPro cameras don't come with their own chargers and most people would probably just use a standard USB Type-A AC charger with the USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable supplied with the cameras.

The GoPro Supercharger has one USB Type-C port and one USB Type-A port.  The USB Type-C port supports 15 watts (5.1 volts @ 3 amps), 16.5 watts (5.5 volts @ 3 amps), and 20 watts (12 volts @ 1.67 amps) using USB Power Delivery while the USB Type-A port can charge at 7.65 watts (5.1 volts @ 1.5 amps).   Let's see how the GoPro Supercharger's USB Type-C Port uses USB Power Delivery to charge the GoPro HERO5 Black.

After we connect the GoPro HERO5 Black to the GoPro Supercharger with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, we can look more closely at the USB Power Delivery protocol negotiations.

We can see the GoPro Supercharger constantly advertising its source capabilities of 15 watts (5.1 volts @ 3 amps), 16.5 watts (5.5 volts @ 3 amps), and 20 watts (12 volts @ 1.67 amps).

Only after a while the GoPro HERO5 Black requests to draw 8.25 watts (5.5 volts @ 1.5 amps) from the charger.  After the GoPro Supercharger supplies that power, a hard reset happens and the charger provides its source capabilities again. This time the USB Power Delivery negotiation successfully completed it a lot cleaner manner.

We tried reconnecting the USB cable between the GoPro Supercharger and GoPro HERO5 Black and this time a clean USB Power Delivery protocol transaction occurred.

We confirmed that the GoPro HERO5 Black was pulling 5.5 volts from the GoPro Supercharger with the current was bouncing around between 1.1 amps to 1.3 amps (when the camera's battery was fully depleted). We didn't observe that the full 1.5 amps requested was actually provided.

The GoPro Supercharger's USB Type-C port can charge the GoPro HERO5 Black using USB Power Delivery to charge faster than the typical USB port although it was surprising to sometimes see the USB Power Delivery Protocol behavior described above.
