The iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger (click here for Amazon pricing) has been recently tested to power Apple MacBooks so let's see how well it works charging the Apple iPad Pro using USB Power Delivery.
The Granite River Labs USB Power Delivery test software shows the iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger offering initial power profiles of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps) and 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps).
The Apple iPad Pro can be seen requesting 12 watts (5 volts @ 2.4 amps) from the charger.
We further verify on the oscilloscope to find the iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger delivering about 5 volts @ 0.1 amps to the Apple iPad Pro while fully charged.
This shows that the Apple iPad Pro supports USB Power Delivery technology that works with non-Apple chargers like the iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger, although the resulting 12 watts charging is lower than what you get from its own Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter.
