The iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger with Power Delivery (click here for Amazon pricing) promises to output 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps) of charging over the USB Type-C interface. This allows you to charge certain USB Type-C devices like the Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD with 27W PD Portable Charger Bundle fast at 9 volts using USB Power Delivery.
Note that the Anker power bank claims to support USB Power Delivery input charging profiles of 5 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) and 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps). Anker starts charging from a 10% battery level when connected with the iVoler charger using a USB Type-C to Type-C cable.
We can see from the Granite River Labs GRL-USB-PD-A1 app that the iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger negotiates with the Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD over USB Power Delivery by offering 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) power profiles.
The Anker power bank follows up to request 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps) which is accepted by the iVoler charger.
During negotiations we also observe Power Role Swap and Vendor Defined Messages taking place. The iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger then goes on to declare not only 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), and 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) it initially offered but also an additional power profile of 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps).
Next we see that the iVoler charger again accepts the same 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps) request by the Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD.
Here we verify that the Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD successfully draws around 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps) from the iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger when the power bank is 10% charged.
From initial plug in at 10% battery, we can see that the Anker power bank consistently pulls around 3 amps @ 9 volts for about 2 hours 44 minutes. The current pulled then gradually decreases to 0.6 amps @ 9 volts as the Anker battery continues to be charged to full.
Overall the Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD takes approximately 3 hours 35 minutes to charge completely with the iVoler 75W USB Type C Charger using USB Power Delivery. The iVoler charger is able to supply the Anker power bank around the max power as offered by Anker’s own 27 watts USB Power Delivery based charger which confirms that both power bank and iVoler charger work well together.
