Moto G5 Plus Needs to Get Better Handle on Charging Time Estimations

The Moto G5 Plus supports TurboPower which looks to be based on Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

However, the Moto G5 Plus appears to have difficulty estimating how much time it takes to charge the phone when connected to a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger like the Ventev Dashport Car Charger.  At first it reported needing 6 hours to charge when the battery was at 3%.

After the battery rose to 5%, it then lowered the charging time to 4 hours.

Even after 14 minutes, it only charged 20% which doesn't appear to be equivalent to the six hours of power that is claimed.

The Moto G5 Plus doesn't explicitly show in its battery screen whether or not its being charged (you can only see this in the charging icon) and if charging is being carried out rapidly.  This lack of information and wide variability on the battery charging estimation time makes it harder for the user to figure out what is going with charging on his or her phone.
