The Samsung Galaxy S10+ supports Qualcomm Quick Charge in addition to USB Power Delivery and Samsung's owned Adaptive Fast Charge technology. We'll see how the Samsung phone gets power supplied over Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 when connected with the 18W based Radius QC2 AC Charger.
To observe charging, we used the GRL-USB-PD-C2 Compliance Test Solution App after connecting the Samsung Galaxy S10+ with the Radius QC2 AC Charger using a USB Type-A to Type-C cable. The phone started off pulling about .5 amps current once the voltage began at a 5 volts rail to initially charge at around 2.5 watts (5 volts @ .5 amps). As the voltage quickly increased to a 9 volts rail, the phone pulled much higher current to continuously draw steady state power of around 15 watts (9 volts @ 1.67 amps) from the charger. With 15 watts the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is able to achieve the max power offered by its own supplied AFC charger that shows the phone works just as well using Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0.
