Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 Supports Fast Charging with USB-C

The computing processing needed for noise cancellation and larger batteries to support longer flights or work from home usage drives a need for faster charging technologies for noise cancellation headphones.

The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 now supports faster charging using USB-C technology, promising full battery charging time in 2.5 hours and a quick charge of 3.5 hours in 15 minutes. A maximum of 20 hours of battery life is supported.

Bluetooth 5.0 technology is used with a standard range of 10 meters.

The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 also supports Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant for voice control.

Size is a nice advantage of the Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 which is sleekly shaped, making it easy to slip into its compact case.

One right headphone cup supports finger swipe for playback and volume control.

Both left and right headphone cups have buttons which can be confusing for the user especially since out of the three buttons, only the power/Bluetooth one is labeled (the left cup's Noise Cancellation and right cup's Voice Assistance buttons are not).

The Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 gives you audible notifications of battery levels and what devices are connected over Bluetooth which is helpful, although it can be distracting if you have different long named devices connected to the headphones.

To better understand the fast charging performance of the Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 and its competitor the Sony WH-1000XM3, we used the GRL-C2 USB PD Tester and GRL-PSP Power Analyzer software from Granite River Labs.  Click here to see that fast charging performance analysis.
