The ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module allows you to add USB Power Delivery and Qualcomm Quick Charge technology on top of your office desk such that it is easily accessible. The ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module supports multiple AC power ports as well as USB PD 3.0 through a USB Type-C port, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 through a USB Type-A port.
The ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module's USB Type-C port supports 15W (5V@3A), 27W (9V@3A), 27W (12V@2.25A), 30W (15V@2A), and 30W (20V@1.5A) USB Power Delivery profiles, great for achieving fast charging on the all latest generation Android and iPhone devices. With the ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module, higher wattage faster charging is possible versus the 18W PD Charger that Apple includes in the latest generation of phones like the iPhone 11 Pro Max and Samsung Note 10+.
The ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module also has a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port which you can use to connect to USB docks or hosts which are connected to the USB port through the bottom of the power module.
To power the ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module, there is a rugged locking mechanism which can then connect to the AC power source.
The ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module offers users a convenient way to professionally add USB Power Delivery and Qualcomm Quick Charge technology to keep smartphones, tablets, and small form factor notebook PC's powered throughout the day.
To observe the power capabilities of the ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module, we used the USB Power Test App from Granite River Labs with the Granite River Labs USB Power Delivery Compliance C2 Tester to generate the following test results.
The USB Power Test App first negotiates a power contract for every PDO supported by the ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module, and increases the load gradually to find the threshold where over current protection (OCP) kicks in and voltage and current start to drop for safety reasons.
The USB Power Test App then reports out the fixed PDO's supported by the ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module and their OCP thresholds.

The USB Power Test App from Granite River Labs takes this data to produce an I-V curve which graphically shows the relationship between voltage and current for each PDO. We can see that the voltage immediately shuts off when crossing the OCP threshold for each PDO.
Using the USB Power Delivery Compliance C2 Tester from Granite River Labs to run just a subset of the full USB Power Delivery compliance test suite, some compliance failures were observed for the ABL Chroma USB PD & QC Power Module.
