Charge Most Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 Enabled Phones and More with the Mediasonic Qualcomm Certified QC 2.0 50W 5 Port USB Charger
The Mediasonic QC 2.0 50W 5 Port USB Charger can be used as a replacement power supply to provide fast charging using Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology to most phones and tablets that support Qualcomm Quick Charge. The Mediasonic charger has a total of five USB Type-A output ports similar to other QC2.0 branded chargers such as the AUKEY 5 Port Wall Charger (PA-T1) and Tronsmart 5 Ports Desktop Charger. Out of these five outputs, only one can enable Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 for charging using power profiles of 5 volts @ 2.4 amps, 9 volts @ 1.8 amps and 12 volts @ 1.6 amps. Unlike some other QC3.0 branded chargers such as the Onpro UC-2PQC36 36W QC3.0 Wall Charger and AUKEY PA-T16 Dual-Port USB Wall Charger which support variable voltage ranges for charging, the Mediasonic charger only has fixed voltage levels.
Click here to observe how we used the Mediasonic QC 2.0 50W 5 Port USB Charger to charge the LG G7 ThinQ phone using both the charger's QC2.0 and non QC2.0 enabled ports.
The other four USB Type-A ports which are not enabled with Qualcomm Quick Charge provide 30 watts with each port supporting 5 volts @ 2 amps for charging.
The packaging includes the Mediasonic QC 2.0 50W 5 Port USB Charger itself as well as a separate AC power cord and some instruction sheets.
To supply power to the charger, just attach the power cord and connect to AC power.
Despite supporting only 20 watts of QC2.0 charging, this is still enough to work with many tablets and phones in the market today. We look forward to see how the Mediasonic QC 2.0 50W 5 Port USB Charger charges various devices supporting different charging technologies.
