Accusys Launches Thunderbolt 3 based 12-bay Shareable Storage Solution at NAB 2016
Accusys announced the A16T3-Share, the world's first Thunderbolt 3 based shareable storage solution, at NAB 2016. You can add 12 drives to the A16T3-Share, and add JBOD's to expand storage capacity even further. If 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports are not enough, you can connect 2 A16T3-Share chassis together, and allow 8 Mac's to share the combined storage (max 1 Petabyte or 960TB) of the 2 A16T3-Share and connected JBOD's.
The A16T3-Share is a follow-on to the A16T2-Share, a shareable Thunderbolt 2 based solution that allows 4 Mac's to share 64 HDD's (or 256TB, assuming each enterprise drive has 4TB).
