NVIDIA Titan X- First Graphics Card with DisplayPort 1.4 Support
The Titan X using NVIDIA's new Pascal GPU architecture is not only one of the most powerful graphics cards released, but it's one of the first products released in the market that support DisplayPort 1.4.
DisplayPort 1.4 supports 8.1 Gb/s per lane which at 4 lanes provides 32.4 Gb/s of throughput compared to the DisplayPort 1.2 which supports 5.4 Gb/s per lane. DisplayPort 1.4 also supports Display Stream Compression 1.2 to support 8K (7680×4320) at 60 hz with 10-bit color and HDR, or 4K (3840×2160) at 120 hz with 10-bit color and HDR. Don't expect DisplayPort 1.4 displays to come on line for a while but we'll be looking forward to test them with the NVIDIA Titan X.
The NVIDIA Titan X also supports HDMI 2.0 which only supports up to 4K at 60 hz resolutions and HDR.
