The HTC 10 phone supports both Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Power Delivery over USB Type-C, so let's see how well it works with other USB Power Delivery chargers like the Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger.

The Ventev Wallport pd1300 Wall Charger initiates USB Power Delivery negotiations with the HTC 10 by advertising its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps). The HTC 10 while on a 41% charged battery requests 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) from the charger which it accepts.

When the HTC 10 is being charged by the Ventev charger with its battery at 41% full, charging happens at 10 watts (5 volts @ 2 amps).
