Up Close on the More Powerful HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae011dx (Late 2017) 2-in-1 PC
The Spectre x360 is one of the most powerful 2-in-1 notebook PC's released by HP which include 2017 models like the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) and Spectre x360 - 13-ae011dx (Late 2017). These hybrid laptops not only look good but also carry two Thunderbolt 3 based USB Type-C ports on one of the thinnest PC platforms out there.
The HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae011dx (Late 2017) has the newer and faster Intel Core i7-8550U processor compared to the Intel Core i7-7500U on the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) although both run on Windows 10 with 8 GB LPDDR3 SDRAM among the many other similarities.
You can expect an almost similar look and feel in the Spectre x360 series with a 13.3 inch full HD display with touch screen and a backlit keyboard with touchpad. The Bang & Olufsen brand of quad speakers are also a prominent feature on these PC's.
The two Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C ports are adjacently located on one side of the HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae011dx (Late 2017) which support Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s), USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s), DisplayPort 1.2 to connect with 4k@60hz displays, and uses USB Power Delivery technology.
