GoPro sells its own USB Power Delivery based GoPro Supercharger (click here for Amazon pricing) as an additional fast charging accessory to the GoPro HERO5 Black and GoPro HERO5 Session cameras but the charger can also work with Windows based PC's like the USB Power Delivery enabled LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016). Let's see how the GoPro Supercharger uses USB Power Delivery to charge the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) over its USB Type-C port that supports USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB Power Delivery, and DisplayPort.

The GoPro Supercharger initiates USB Power Delivery negotiations with the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) by advertising its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 16.5 watts (5.5 volts @ 3 amps), and 20 watts (12 volts @ 1.67 amps). The PC only requests 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps) from the charger which it accepts.

While the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) is being charged on an already well charged battery, we can see that the power drawn is 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps).

We can confirm that the GoPro Supercharger is not able to really charge the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) over USB Power Delivery.
