The Samsung 15W Wireless Charger Stand includes a fan which helps to reduce temperature and increase charging speed. Let's take a look at how well it charges the Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G which uses advanced charging techniques when testing over USB Power Delivery.
Using the GRL-C2 USB PD Tester and GRL-PSP Power Analyzer software from Granite River Labs, we can see that it takes about 4.1 hours to charge to 100% battery. Because the Samsung 15W Wireless Charger Stand uses a fan, the phone's external maximum temperature is kept below 38 degrees C without having to regularly reduce power draw which would also slow doing charging speed.
The Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G receives a max of about 12W wirelessly briefly while initially charging but gets about 7W for most of the charging cycle. Power draw only starts to decrease after 95% battery and we see that the phone is still drawing power for battery charging even after reporting 100% battery.
