Asus Shipping Their First USB Type-C Phone with DisplayPort- The ZenFone 3 Ultra
Asus has always been known for providing premium features at value pricing, and the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra is no exception.
Sold in markets like Taiwan and India, the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra joins the LG G5, LG V20, and HTC 10 in supporting premium features like DisplayPort 1.2 over USB Type-C.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra also supports fast charging over USB Type-C using Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and probably supports some form of USB Power Delivery as well. We'll take a closer look at its USB capabilities once we get our hands on the product.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth V 4.2, and SD card, and also keeps the 3.5 mm audio jack. There is no support of NFC.
