Those who own a Thunderbolt 3 based Mac can use the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) Cable (0.8 m) to quickly move large 4K video or data files to most Thunderbolt 3 or USB Type-C enabled devices and peripherals. By supporting Thunderbolt 3, this 0.8 meter cable can provide up to 40Gbps of data transfer rate when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 based device. The Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) Cable (0.8 m) also supports data transfer over the USB-C interface at USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds (up to 10Gbps) as well as DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Power Delivery 3.0 technologies.

With DisplayPort 1.4, the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) Cable (0.8 m) is able to support 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz displays which also lets you connect a daisy-chain of up to six Thunderbolt 3 based devices. The Apple cable can also be used to supply up to 100W of rapid charging power using USB Power Delivery 3.0.
