A Closer Look at the Apple Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro

With the iPad increasing the PC and Mac Notebooks, it's handy to have a keyboard to be able to be more productive when doing work or coding on the iPad.  For the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, Apple offers the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro which connects to the iPad using Apple's proprietary Smart Connector. 

We purchased the 9.7-inch iPad Pro at Best Buy together with the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro. 

Opening up the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro packaging just reveals the keyboard cover itself and some documentation.

The soft inside of the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro protects the iPad's screen while the outside has a 'grippy' rubber surface.

The Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro has a responsive tactile keyboard that makes it easier to use than a lot of the other tablet keyboards in the market.

After you connect the 9.7-inch iPad Pro to the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro through the magnetic Smart Connector on the side of the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, you can then fold the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro a protective cover, keyboard notebook, and display stand configurations.

One of the drawbacks of the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro is trying to figure out how to fold it into the right configuration.  Another issue is that the magnetic Smart Connect connection with the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro may not be strong enough to firmly latch onto the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.  This results in the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro often breaking off the 9.7-inch iPad Pro and falling to the floor if you are not careful handing the two together.

Still, the Smart Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad Pro is extra convenient when trying to create Microsoft Office documents, compose long e-mails, or write code.
