The Moto G5 Plus uses Qualcomm Quick Charge which Lenovo brands as TurboPower on its Moto phones to achieve rapid charging over the phone's USB Micro-B connector. The phone comes with its own TurboPower branded charger which supports 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) and 14.4 watts (9 volts @ 1.6 amps or 12 volts @ 1.2 amps).
Once you connect the charger to the Moto G5 Plus, the phone will state TurboPower Connected.
The Moto G5 Plus uses a version of Android that doesn't show a graph of how quickly it is charging. However, it does predict that charging will complete in about an hour and thirty-five minutes when the battery is close to fully drained.
