After having problems with the OWC Type-C Dock, Apple MacBook (Early 2016), and the j5create JUCX03 USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-C Cable (click this here to see this review), I switched to using the Apple MacBook (Early 2015) with the same setup.

With the Apple MacBook (Early 2015), USB and display enumeration worked properly and the OWC Type-C Dock could also charge the MacBook.
