The Atomi Power Tower Plus can provide Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 based charging through one of its USB Type-A connectors. The Mi Power Bank Pro 10000mAh with a USB Type-C port by Xiaomi also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 over its USB Type-C input port so let's see how well it works with the Atomi Power Tower Plus. The Xiaomi power bank's battery is nearly full when we start charging it with the Atomi charger once connected with a USB Type-A to Type-C cable.
We can see in the Granite River Labs GRL-USB-PD-A1 app that the Xiaomi power bank initially pulls current to about 1.4 amps at 5 volts in first 10 seconds. As the voltage increases to 12 volts, the current pulled gradually goes down to 0.4 amps when reaching 90 seconds of charging.
The Mi Power Bank Pro 10000mAh with a USB Type-C port is able to work fine with the Atomi Power Tower Plus using Qualcomm Quick Charge. The power bank was also observed to get similar power at 5 volts when charging with a USB Power Delivery based Apple 29W USB-C Power Adapter in this review.
