The Mi Pad is one of many products that Xiaomi has released going after big markets based on aggressive price, smart design, and unique branding.  Unfortunately the Mi Pad's wireless display is not working with the Sony Bravia Android 4K TV. 

To perform the screen mirror in Mi Pad, go to Settings -> More -> Wireless Display. Tap on wireless display and the Mi Pad will scan and show nearby wireless display devices. 

 

 

Select the wireless display that you want to use to mirror your Mi Pad screen. Once you selected the Sony Bravia Android 4K TV from the list, Mi Pad starts registering with the Sony Bravia Android 4K TV. 

Unfortunately Xiaomi Mi Pad does not register with the Sony Bravia Android 4K TV.

I tried many times to connect the wireless display but unfortunately the popup "Couldn't connect to display" kept on appearing.

I performed a factory reset on the Mi Pad and tried again but screen mirroring still failed to work with the Sony Bravia Android 4K TV.
