Since the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) supports charging through USB Power Delivery over USB Type-C, we'll see if it can be charged using the Google 18W USB-C Power Adapter which is a USB Power Delivery based charger that comes with the Google Pixel.

We can see from the USB Power Delivery negotiations that the Google 18W USB-C Power Adapter offers 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) and 18 watts (9 volts @ 2 amps) to the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) from which the PC only requests 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps) which the charger accepts.

As the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) is being charged with its battery near full, we can see that charging happens at 0.5 watts (5 volts @ 0.1 amps).

This shows that the Google 18W USB-C Power Adapter isn't able to really charge the LG gram Touch 15" Laptop (2016) over USB Power Delivery.
