The Smays USB to Ethernet Adapter is based on a Realtek RTL8152 USB 2.0 to 10/100 Ethernet chipset, and can be used by the Nintendo Switch Dock, Windows PC's, and Chromebooks that still use a USB Type-A Port. Although most PC's now support USB 3.1 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) speeds, we see how much decrease in performance you actually get compared to more expensive USB 3.1 Gen 1 and 10/100/1000 based USB Ethernet adapters.
