The Samsung 45W Super Fast Charge Wall Charger is a newer version of Samsung's own proprietary Adaptive Fast Charge (AFC) chargers, supporting the USB Type-C connector. The Samsung 45W charger can take advantage of USB Power Delivery 3.0 based PPS (Programmable Power Supply) and Augmented PDO's for rapid charging over the Type-C interface which is also similar to the Samsung's 25W Super Fast Charge charger that shipped with the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ phone as well as the Samsung 25W PD 3.0 PPS Type-C Charger used by the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G phone.

Most recent Samsung USB Power Delivery 3.0 capable phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ and Galaxy S10 5G can take advantage of the higher power charging rates through the Samsung 45W Super Fast Charge Wall Charger. Other Samsung and non Samsung USB Power Delivery 2.0 enabled phones will only get up to standard 10W charging using this Samsung 45W charger.
The Samsung 45W Super Fast Charge Wall Charger came bundled with a USB Type-C to Type-C charging cable as its only accessory.
The Samsung charger offers up to 45 watts output using fixed PDO's (Power Delivery Objects) of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps) as well as variable power of 13.3-44.5 watts (3.3~11 volts @ 4.05 amps), 9.2-44.8 watts (3.3~16 volts @ 2.8 amps) and 6.9-44.1 watts (3.3~21 volts @ 2.1 amps) power profiles.
You can use the supplied USB Type-C to Type-C cable to connect the Samsung 45W charger with your phone for charging.
Using the USB Power Delivery Compliance C2 Tester from Granite River Labs to run just a subset of the full USB Power Delivery compliance test suite, we can see that the Samsung 45W Super Fast Charge Wall Charger supports fixed PDO's of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 45 watts (20 volts @ 2.25 amps) as well as variable power supply of 3.3-11 volts, 3.3-16 volts and 3.3-21 volts for charging out. Some compliance failures were also observed for this Samsung charger.
