The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note phone comes enabled with Miracast technology allowing its display to be wirelessly mirrored onto a compatible TV like the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV easily.
Start Miracast on the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note through Settings -> Display -> Cast screen. At the same time, check that your local Wi-Fi network is already enabled.
Turn on wireless display and the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will start to detect any Miracast-supported displays nearby. From there you should be able to see the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV as 'Samsung 4 Series(32)'. Select this TV to start the screen mirroring connection process.
You will also see on the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV that it is trying to connect to the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note.
Once successful, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will immediately get connected to the TV, and the phone's screen will be displayed. There's also some nice tips on how to play videos using cast screen.
The Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV lets you use either Miracast or Google Cast to play YouTube videos from the Lenovo Vibe K5 Note. With Miracast, every single item from your phone will get mirrored on to the TV. Google Cast however is more flexible with the content you want to display, for example, when you select the Google Cast icon on YouTube, only the video will be shown on the TV (the phone acts more like just a remote control).
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note can connect well with the Samsung K4300 Joy Smart TV using Miracast but not recommended for long sessions of high resolution media or game play.
