The Huawei P10 comes with both 3.5mm audio and USB Type-C ports to support wired audio connection with compatible headphones. When tested using the JBL Reflect Aware C USB Type-C based noise cancellation headphones, the Huawei P10 performs well with the headphones over the USB Type-C interface.

By swiping down from the top, you will see a USB charging Settings notification which when opened will automatically show that the Huawei P10 is supplying USB power to the JBL Reflect Aware C. When audio is playing through the headphones, you can also swipe down to see the current music being played.

While the headphones was able to output audio over the USB Type-C port, unfortunately there were no ways found on the Huawei P10 to select or adjust the audio output. This was also the case when we tested the JBL Reflect Aware C with the Huawei P9 in this review.

  

Overall it's good to know that you can easily link up the JBL Reflect Aware C with the Huawei P10 to listen to music and take advantage of its active noise cancellation features using USB Type-C.
