HTC's Last Great Phone- The One (M8)

HTC was an early leader in smartphones promising to be one of Taiwan's top brands similar to Asus and Acer.  As giants like Samsung, Apple, Huawei, and Xiaomi have muscled their way into the worldwide mobile phone market, there has been less oxygen for everyone else including HTC.  HTC has been keeping up with the latest processors from Qualcomm but technical specs alone haven't been enough to forestall the company's loss of market share, struggling stock price, and acquisition rumours. HTC One (M9) has octa-core processors like everyone else but doesn't have a lot of huge improvements over the last well-reviewed high quality phone by HTC, the One (M8).  At less than half the price of the M9, if you are looking to buy an excellent Android Phone for a steal, getting the One (M8) is no brainer. The HTC One (M8) is also packed with tons of connectivity options that are lost with newer models from Samsung and Apple.  The HTC One (M8) supports not only standard interfaces like USB, WI-FI, and Bluetooth, but it also supports MHL for high definition video display, Miracast for wireless display, NFC for touch payments and file transfers, and external SD cards. Full featured functionality aside, the One (M8) is also stylishly designed and looks great. It's too bad the HTC One (M8) wasn't able reverse HTC's market share woes despite its excellent design and full feature set.  However, sometimes great products can't overcome the marketing and advertising muscle of HTC's competition.
