While sold by macsales.com, the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter can also be used for certain other Windows PC's with Thunderbolt 3 like the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017).

The NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter supports USB Power Delivery charging over its USB Type-C port up to 60W. We will observe how well this external charger works with the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) notebook also supports USB Power Delivery through its Thunderbolt port.

The NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter kicks off USB Power Delivery negotiations by advertising its source capabilities of 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps), and 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps). The Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) then requests to pull 60 watts (20 volts @ 3 amps) which the charger complies.

While the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017)'s battery is already well charged, we can see that the current charges to around 2 amps at 20 volts in the first 10 seconds.

It's great knowing that the NewerTech NuPower 60W USB-C Power Adapter is able to charge certain Windows based Thunderbolt 3 PC's like the Spectre x360 (2nd Generation 2017) using USB Power Delivery technology.
