What happens if you use the Verizon USB Type-C Wall Charger with Fast Charge Technology sold by Verizon to charge the Nubia Z17 phone, both supporting USB Power Delivery and Qualcomm Quick Charge?

Here we see the Verizon USB Type-C Wall Charger starts communicating with the Nubia Z17 over USB Power Delivery by repeatedly displaying 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 21 watts (7 volts @ 3 amps), 24 watts (8 volts @ 3 amps), 24 watts (9 volts @ 2.7 amps), and 24 watts (12 volts @ 2 amps)  power profiles.

The Nubia Z17 follows up to establish 15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps) USB Power Delivery power contract with the charger when the phone's battery is  8% charged.

From the power graph, we can see the Nubia Z17 at 8% battery first draws around 13 watts (5.3 volts @ 2.5 amps) but the current pulled goes up slightly to about 3 amps after 40 seconds. However after another 12 seconds, the phone only appears to pull around 8 watts (5.3 volts @ 1.5 amps) from the charger.

The Verizon USB Type-C Wall Charger is able to charge the Nubia Z17 using USB Power Delivery although at a lower power than when using the phone's own Qualcomm Quick Charge based charger.
