With the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote (Click here for pricing on Amazon) replacing the previous Amazon Fire TV Stick model, let's see if the new Fire TV Stick model will still allow the Amazon Fire Tablet (Click here for pricing on Amazon) to remotely control it.

To use the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote, first make sure it is connected to power through its USB connector and is also connected to a TV through a HDMI port. Once the right HDMI port is selected on the TV, you should be able to see the Amazon Fire TV Home screen.

Then check that the Amazon Fire TV Stick is connected to the Internet.

The Amazon Fire Tablet should already have the Amazon Fire TV App. Once you open the App, the tablet searches for nearby devices to connect over Wi-Fi. When you click on Fire TV Stick, the Amazon Fire Tablet asks you to enter the 4-digit code that is displayed on your Amazon Fire TV Stick

Once you enter the code, you should be able to control the Amazon Fire TV Stick through the Amazon Fire Tablet over Wi-Fi.

This should enable you to browse videos from the Amazon Fire Tablet and play them on your TV via the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

As expected, the new Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote (Click here for pricing on Amazon) is compatible with the Amazon Fire Tablet, with hassle-free setup and connectivity.
