The Google Chromecast (2015) has been very successful due to its low price and ability to wirelessly display YouTube and other Apps from Android smartphones like the Google Pixel on to cheap TVs like the LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS 2.0 (2015)

It is easy to set up the Google Chromecast (2015) from the Google Pixel. Make sure that you have connected the Google Chromecast (2015) to one of the HDMI ports of the TV and powered on the Google Chromecast (2015) by attaching the USB cable to a TV USB port or a USB power adapter. You also need to make sure that your TV is powered up, and the HDMI input of your TV is the same port that you connected the Google Chromecast (2015) to.

Once you factory reset the Google Chromecast (2015), you should be able to see this screen.

If you are setting up the Google Chromecast (2015) for the very first time, note that Google has changed the name of the Google Cast App to 'Google Home'.

From your Google Pixel, download and install the Google Home App from Google Play.

It is pretty straightforward to follow the steps once you open the Google Home app from your Google Pixel.

At this point, verify that the code you see on your  Google Pixel matches the code that is displayed on the LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS 2.0 (2015) by the Google Chromecast (2015)

Then connect the Google Chromecast (2015) to your Wi-Fi network.

Once you are connected, you will notice that your Google Chromecast (2015) also connects to the same network on the LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS 2.0 (2015). After that, your Google Chromecast (2015) is ready to Cast.

From your Google Pixel, continue and sign in to the Google Home App.

Open the Google Home App and click the top right menu icon -> Cast screen / audio -> CAST SCREEN / AUDIO. The App will then search for the Google Chromecast (2015).

You can select your Google Chromecast (2015) model once it is found, and the casting connection process will start.

Once the casting connection is established, you should be able to see the Google Pixel's screen on the LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS 2.0 (2015) connected to the Google Chromecast (2015).

The Google Chromecast (2015) is compatible with Android smartphones like the Google Pixel, and setting it up is easy from the phone on to TVs like the LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS 2.0 (2015), even though at times the images may appear slightly pixilated. While the LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS 2.0 (2015) has some smart TV capabilities, the Google Chromecast (2015) lets you outstretch your Android phone's Apps like YouTube and games to enhance and extend your Android phone experience to the big screen.
