The Microsoft Surface Book which runs on Windows 10 allows you to use a Display or TV supporting Miracast like the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class to wirelessly share your screen and play content.

To start Miracast from the Microsoft Surface Book, first go to Settings -> System -> Display in Windows and select 'Connect to a wireless display'. Select the LG TV that shows up on the right side of Windows as 'webOS TV OLED65B6P'. The wireless display connection process will then start.

Once connected, the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class will mirror the Microsoft Surface Book's screen. To change the display mode of the PC, just select 'Change projection mode' to extend, duplicate, or use either the PC's screen or TV screen.

The Microsoft Surface Book supports the 1920 X 1080 resolution on the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class over Miracast. Make sure you select the 1920 X 1080 resolution level to take the best advantage of the LG Display's capabilities.

While the Surface and LG Display were both connected to the same Wi-Fi network enabled by the NETGEAR Orbi Wi-Fi router that was located nearby, we found that it was surprisingly smooth and comfortable to watch videos with no pixelation and lag just like connecting the display over a wired connection.

It is easy to wirelessly display the Microsoft Surface Book to the LG B6 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class since the PC can support Miracast natively using Windows 10 without needing a Miracast bridge device. However it's recommended to use Miracast only for simple desktop use, browsing, and casual videos and not for high resolution movies and action games.
